Wayuu Bag Meets Isla Saona
Sometimes I feel like a foreigner in my country, do you feel the same? I've lived in this island for more than 20 years and do not know the half of it. As a promise to myself I decided that this year I will try to get to know my country. I must confess that I love to travel but I never do it inside my country. Whenever the work or other commitments get in the way and I never enjoy the beauties of this paradise. The first trip of the year was toward the Saona Island, we embarked on a catamaran at Bayahibe and within an hour- accompanied by music, entertainment and beverages- we anchored on the island. An exquisite tour that I truly recommend, also near the island there is an artificial pool in the middle of the sea where you can enjoy crystal clear waters and starfishes. Definitely a trip that everyone should experience.
I took the chance and the scenario to take pictures of this new Wayuu Bag that Lorena brought from Colombia, a colorful handmade piece. I love to get these type of items which come from other nations as they always give a special touch to my personal style, plus my collection of personal key items becomes much more valuable and original.
